Decisions of the Appeals Board
The decisions of the Appeals Board are published on https://www.stjornarradid.is/gogn/urskurdir-og-alit. They are in Icelandic only. The decisions will be published after the appellant has been notified about the results of his or her case. Due to privacy considerations and the sensitive nature of the decisions, information that may help identify the appellant have been removed.

The Immigration and Asylum Appeals Board is an independent quasi-judicial body comprising seven members. The Board members have expertise in the field of immigration law, in particular refugee law and the right to asylum as well as residence permits. They are appointed for a period of five years.
